Plymouth Marjon secured a decisive 4-1 victory against Beer Albion.
The home team, known as the Fishermen, remained competitive for much of the match.
However, the visitors' greater offensive strength ultimately proved to be the deciding factor.
Marjon, who began the match in second place on the table, broke the deadlock with Connor Trewin's effort, which found its way past home goalkeeper Max Haywood.
After a sustained period of pressure, Albion equalised with a penalty kick from Taylor Rooke, who cleverly outwitted the goalkeeper following a handling offence in the box.
As play continued to swing from one end to the other, two well-crafted goals from the students established a 3-1 lead at half-time.
First, Liam Donovan made a mark with a goal following some impressive footwork on the edge of the area.
Jack Martin then capitalised on a defence-splitting pass from midfield to score.
In the second half, Beer had several opportunities to close the gap, including shots that narrowly missed and a close header from Ollie Binion.
As Albion attempted late attacks, they were caught out again, with Lee Coxon scoring for Marjon.
Beer Man of the Match was Charlie Ledger.
