Honiton athlete is seeking sponsorship to continue her journey in elite XTERRA racing.
Kerri-Ann Upham, of Honiton, is well-known as an elite XTERRA triathlete competing on the global stage.
Her career began in her hometown, attending Honiton Community College and starting her athletic journey with the local swimming club.
Kerri-Ann said: "Devon has always been home to me.
"Growing up in Honiton, attending Honiton Community College, and starting my athletic journey with the local swimming club, I’ve always dreamt of becoming an elite athlete.
"Today, I’m proud to say that I’m realising that dream, competing as an elite XTERRA triathlete on the world stage."
However, to continue pursuing this path, she has put a call out for sponsorship to support her 2025 racing season.
XTERRA is an off-road triathlon series combining open-water swimming, mountain biking, and trail running, often over rugged terrain.
Races take place in stunning and challenging locations worldwide, demanding athletes tackle natural elements like forests, mountains, and rivers.
Kerri-Ann's love for pushing boundaries traces back to her early days in the Honiton swimming pool.
After a stellar amateur career, which saw her crowned the 2022 World and European Champion, she transitioned to the elite level in 2023.
Now, she competes against top-tier athletes worldwide, representing the UK in the most challenging off-road triathlon circuit.
Still residing in Exeter, she stays connected to her roots while pursuing her dream of competing at the sport's highest levels.
Her success has been driven by passion, hard work, and the backing of a few loyal sponsors.
However, the financial demands of international competition necessitate further sponsorship, covering expenses such as travel, race fees, and equipment costs.
Without additional backing, maintaining her competitive edge is becoming increasingly challenging.
As she gears up for the 2025 season, Kerri-Ann is seeking sponsors to help her stay on track to reach her goals.
She said: By partnering with me, businesses can not only help me achieve my dreams but also gain visibility and engagement with a growing audience, both locally and globally."
She regularly shares updates on her progress through her website and social media and is committed to showcasing the Devon community on an international platform.
Sponsors can benefit from brand promotion, logo placement on race kits, and personalised collaborations tailored to their goals.
