The Lyme Regis Golf Club ladies battled rain and hail in last week's Parmee Trophy and Stableford competition, writes Catherine Loudwell.
The trophy, generously donated by former member Mrs Eileen Dick, is open to ladies over 75, spanning both 9 and 18-hole formats.
This year saw Rosemary Dare grab the trophy with an impressive score of 17 points, followed closely by Ann Broome with 15 points.
In the 18-hole Stableford division one, Caroline Baker triumphed with a remarkable 38 points, with Mandy Blunden securing second place with 35 points.
Mary Minter clinched division two with 37 points, outrunning Jane Broom with 33 points.
In light of the inclement weather, all contestants heartily agreed the course remained in tip-top condition.
