It has been a week of mixed fortunes for Feniton Bowling Club's mens teams.
In the Foxlands Competition they defeated Seaton by 51-28.
The winning rinks were D Sanders, A Smith, R Clarke and R Smith, 29-12 - and A Kury, A Murdoch, P Bright and B Cann, 22-16.
However, they were well beaten by Sidmouth in the County Trophy Competition, on a most inclement evening with rain throughout the match.
The only winning rink was D Parry, G O’Hara, C Jacob and R Clarke.
In over 60s triples league, the Eagles continued their winning ways with a 44-29 win over Ottery Buzzards.
The winning rinks were G O’Hara, D Coyne and J Skinner, 21-14 - and L Ley, C Jacob and R Clarke, 23-15.
The Hawks lost on both rinks to Wellington Lions by 35-42
