Uplyme & Lyme Regis kept their heads to squeeze past Budleigh Salterton II in a high scoring game that could have swung either way.
Budleigh bowlers Sean Butler and Joel Murphy both earned respectable figures, including Butler's 2-42.
While Uplyme's formidable score was bolstered by a productive stand between wicketkeeper Alfie Jacques with 69 runs and Daniel Magee, who concluded with a near century marred by an unfortunate run-out at 94.
Despite losing opener Preston Hilless early in the game, notable support came in the form of Joe Elsworth and Tyler Wellman contributing 20 and 19 runs respectively.
Budleigh's reply seemed unlikely, that is until an injection of power from Donovan Robinson's middle order partnership garnered 87 runs that challenged Uplyme.
Uplyme skipper Sam Farrow then stepped up with critical interventions, including taking Posapalli's wicket and catching out Tom Oxland and Sean Butler.
Notably, Farrow ended with figures of 2 for 44.
Uplyme's match-clinching prowess came to the fore in their bowling with Budleigh's tail enders falling short by 15 runs to comprehensive Uplyme bowling.
In acknowledgment of their fierce pace, Hilless secured 3 for 23 off nine overs.
The final results showed Uplyme and Lyme Regis's triumphant 249-7 over Budleigh Salterton II's 234-9.
Revelling in the achievement, Uplyme prepares for their next match - a midday game against Braunton on Saturday.
The squad already boasts significant wins in their T20 campaigns with victory over Ottery St Mary and Seaton.
