The sun was shining on Lyme Regis Golf Club Ladies for their Thursday competition; the Andrew Black Four Ball Better Ball.
It was first played after Mr Black's retirement as club professional in 2002.
Played separately by men and women, the race is on for the four victorious ladies’ pairs to compete against the top men’s pairs in a knockout.
This week's accomplished pairs include Susan Moore and Jane Andrews (39 points), Kate Helm and Debbie Shinners (38 points), Celia Beadle and Lesley Elliott (37 points), and Amanda Cleary and Mandy Blunden (37 points).
Their male opponents were unveiled in their competition, which took place on the weekend.
