With Spring approaching, 27 Lyme Regis Golf Club Ladies enjoyed a break in the wet weather and played a 9-hole Stableford competition.
Division 1 players Amanda Cleary, Di Harris and Debbie Shinners shared first place on 16 points. Division 2 was won by Gail Van Der Leedon, scoring an impressive 21 points with Wendy Mann taking second place with 17 points.
On the men’s side of the club, current captain Steve Harlow showed how its done with a hole-in-one on the 11th hole last month, pitching his hybrid straight into the hole. Steve celebrated with a glass of port behind the bar for all members and guests.
Looking ahead to the summer, booking is now open for the George Hoare Trophy at Lyme Regis GC. This 36-hole scratch open will tee off on Saturday, June 1 and a signature event in the Dorset Order of Merit.
