The ladies at Lyme Regis Golf Club have competed in several recent club competitions and Debbie Shinners was the runaway winner in a Mulligan Stableford Competition.
Using her four Mulligans (free shots given to each competitor by the Lady Captain, Rosemary Shepherd) to great effect, she scored 40 Stableford points, 12 points clear of second placed Kim Beauchamp.
The next competition to be played was an 11 Hole Betterball Stableford. Just five points separated the first and the last of six teams. Celia Beadle, Lesley Elliot and Jackie Ireland won with 50 Stableford Points. Mary Minter, Marina Cave and Jean Jolley were in second place.
Finally, an Aggregate Team Stableford Competition took place over 9 holes with 36 lady competitors split into three evenly matched teams captained by the Lady Captain, the Lady Vice Captain and the Ladies Secretary. This competition was open to all lady members. The winning team was led by Vice Captain, Marina Cave.
