It has been a period of mixed fortunes for the Feniton bowlers. The Men’s team lost their top Club match against neighbours Ottery St Mary by 4 rinks to 1.
They also lost their County trophy match away at Sidmouth by 65-82. The only winning rink was P Eells, J Skinner, M Sheen and P Bright 25-19.
There has also been mixed results in the men’s over 60s league. The Hawks won away at Exonia B by 43-23, the winning rinks were D Sanders, G Phillips and A Smith 24-10 and J Livings, J Skinner and P Bright 19-13.
Unfortunately, they lost at home on both rinks to Honiton by 22-33. The Eagles defeated Axminster by 38-29, the winning rink was D Downs, D Coyne M Sheen 26-5. They lost to Exonia C by 30-37, the winning rink was D Downs D Coyne and M Sheen 17-16. In the East of Exe mixed league they lost on all rinks by 46-103 against Ottery St Mary.
The only mixed friendly played was against Exonia, on their indoor rink due to the inclement weather, which they lost by 40-62, the winning rink was J Smith, A Coyne, C Jacob and A Murdoch 17-15.
