Millwey Rise FC’s new season begins with last year's second XI management team of Terry Male and James Morgan stepping up to take charge of the first XI.
They have a wealth of experience, both as players and management, and are relishing the new challenge in front of them.
The reserve team will now comprise long-serving player and youth coach, Jack Bennett, together with Simon Osborne.
Training for the coming season began at 9.30am every Saturday from July 1 at Cloakham Lawns Sports Centre. New players looking for a new team or old players wanting to return to this great 'Local' and friendly club are all welcome.
Just down the road, Axminster Town have also returned for pre-season training and, after a fine campaign in the South-West Peninsula League, the Tigers will open the new season with a visit from Bovey Tracey on Saturday, August 5.
