It has been an excellent week for Feniton Bowls Club. There was a tied match 80-80 away against Honiton in the County Trophy competition. The winning rinks were R Lovering, D Coyne, A Kury and R Cooke 26-18 and D Sanders, G Phillips, A Smith and R Smith 26-18 with one rink tied.

This was followed by success for both teams in the Over 60s league. The Hawks narrowly defeated visitors Budleigh Salterton A by 35-34, the winning rink was D Sanders, A Smith and R Smith 20-15. The Eagles also had a narrow victory over visitors Chardstock by 33-29, the winning rink was R North, D Coyne and M Sheen 21-14.

Chardstock suffered again against Feniton in the Foxlands competition, losing at home and away by 43-28. The winning rinks were R Lovering, G Phillips, A Kury and R Cooke 25-14 and P Eells, M Sheen, R Smith and B Cann 18-14.
