Axe Valley Pedallers’ Jimmy Richards took first place at the Exeter Wheelers Evening 10-mile time trial with a time of 24mins 42secs, beating Russell Powell of Sid Valley by 19 seconds.
Three pedallers tackled the Wessex Gravel epic - Clive Heard, Neil Miller and Gaz Blackett. This tough ride over off-road trails, woodland and quiet lanes started near Frome. The 100km route included 1400m of climbing around the Ridgeway and Deverills.
The AVP monthly social ride covered 32 miles, led by Becca on quiet lanes around Tipton St John, Aylesbere, Whimple, Talaton and Ottery St Mary, including a pub stop, while Jonathan Read-Bone's Saturday Coffee Clubbers ride covered a hilly 40 miles over to Chard in glorious sunshine.
