The semi-final and final of the Outdoor County over 55 Ladies pairs for 2022 was finally played at Tiverton West end earlier this month.

The Honiton pair of Tracy Lambert and Sue Evans played Sandie Curtis and Toni McNeil from South Molton in the semi-final, winning 18-6 to book a place in the final against Jean Chudley and Jenny Dawson from Topsham. It was a tightly fought game and came down to the last end where the Honiton pair were trailing 1 shot down overall but managed to score four shots to secure a victory.

Ladies from Honiton travelled to Maderia to play a friendly match. Being the start of the season and the weather not great, the rink proved to be a lot heavier than usual, however, Honiton soon found the green, convincingly winning on all three rinks with the final score 67-31. 

In the Ladies Exeter & District Ladies Triples League, the Honeybees played a team from Uffculme at home, winning on both rinks and overall 41-27, gaining all six points. The Lacemakers team travelled to Sidmouth to play the Sidmouth Yellow team and won their match 39-26, gaining four points.
