Lyme Regis Golf Club has held its Jurassic Challenge Trophy, an invitation event attended by 12 golf clubs from the region, with 96 golfers participating in the competition.
This team event was won by local golf club Bridport who beat Broadstone on countback, with Exeter third.
The event was hosted by Seniors Captain Ray Shinners and his excellent team.
Well done to all the participating teams and a big thank you to the bar and catering team and all volunteers on the day who made it a great event.
Lyme Regis Golf Ladies played the Andrew Black competition, a Four-Ball Better Ball Stableford. Incredibly, four pairs finished on 36 points and the winning team was decided on countback.
Congratulations to Celia Beadle and Judith Williams who won with Susan Moore and Jane Broom in second place. The top four ladies’ teams now qualify to play against the top four men’s teams to find an overall winner.
