Honiton Bowling Club is in celebration mode after a brilliant set of results will see some silverware arrive at the club, along with the prospect of further success on the national stage.
In the Lacemakers County Top Club Final the ladies of Honiton won a close match against Isca. The final score was Honiton 3 Isca 2 and a superb result for the club.
In the National Mason Quarter Final match, the Honiton A Ladies team travelled to neutral green of Westlecott Bowling Club in Swindon to play Tye Green, Essex. Despite the pressure and expectation of what was on offer, Honiton were imperious on the day and won the match 41 – 25, dominating their Essex opposition throughout.
Honiton A team now go to the National Finals at Nottingham Bowling Club. They will play Cambridge Chesterton in the Semi- Final on Monday, April 10 – good luck to all involved.
