To celebrate their 65th anniversary, 1958-2023, Millwey Rise AFC have had a badge produced bearing the Club's emblem and formation date.
There is a choice of blue or white which were the Club's original colours. These are on sale at £3 each and are available from the Club house at Cloakham Lawns. They are a lasting memento to the success story of Millwey Rise AFC since its inauguration in 1958.
Founded in 1958, Millwey Rise FC started life in the Perry Street and District League Division Two.
In their first season they topped the league and carried off all the silverware that went with it. The idea of a club was first mooted in the Trout Inn, the birthplace and hub of all things Millwey Rise FC in those early days.
The first pitch was alongside Sector Lane where the Redrow houses now stand, and it was not unusual to see crowds of a hundred plus.
