Millwey Rise edged a seven-game thriller at home to Teign Valley in the Devon & Exeter League.
The visitors grabbed an early goal but Dave Bridges equalised with an emphatic finish, and Millwey were in front when a corner from Owen Enticott was headed in by Jack Bennett.
Chances continued to flow at both ends, with Teign Valley levelling on the hour. Bennett then produced a superb finish to beat the visiting goalkeeper. Incredibly, the Teigns managed to make it 3-3 but the final twist was in favour of the Rise, as Theo Souttar-Stone volleyed in a dramatic winner to complete a brilliant game.
There was more good news for the club at Hemyock, where Millwey Rise 2nds secured a 3-0 victory. Teenager Corban Wilson fired in his first goal for the club on 40 minutes and notched a second after the break, skipper Ashley Hall sealing the victory with a brilliant strike.
