Both the ladies’ teams at Seaton Bowls Club have enjoyed a successful season in the Exeter triples league. The blue team performed superbly in finishing top of Division 1, whilst the red team finished second in Division 2 and gain promotion to Division 1 next year. Congratulations to everyone involved.
All three of the men's over 60`s teams have had average seasons, all finishing mid-table in their respective divisions. On Bank Holiday Monday, the club held its carnival drive with colourful clothing as the theme, with new member Nigel White in his Union Jack shirt, Hawaiian shirt and sombrero, a fitting style for an outstanding character.
The club raised £100 for the carnival, which was presented to the Carnival Queen and Princess by the club chairman Roger Wooland. Nigel also had a great game in his first match playing lead in the recent home match win against Feniton.
