Killerton House is set to be transformed into a festive wonderland this Christmas season.

From November 30 to January 5, the National Trust property will be adorned with fairy lights, garlands, and sparkling trees, creating a magical atmosphere for visitors.

The ground floor of the house will be open for exploration, with each room showcasing a different cosy Christmas scene.

Visitors can expect to see Christmas games around the fire in the music room, afternoon tea, and carol singing in the drawing room, and a dining room laden with a Christmas feast.

Family photographs and replicas of Agnes Acland’s Christmas cards will also be on display in the entrance hall.

Jamie Jones, visitor experience and operations manager at Killerton, said: "This year is all about tradition and spending time together as a family.

"The house is looking beautiful with traditional decorations, and we look forward to seeing families take part in the trail.

"There’s fun to be had at Killerton for all ages."

The festive fun extends beyond the house, with an outdoor trail leading visitors through the gardens and chapel grounds.

Families are invited to join in the fun and take part in the outdoor children’s trail, which includes interactive activities for all ages.

Visitors can add their Christmas wishes to the wishing wreath.

Christmas at Killerton is open daily from November 30 to January 5, with the exception of Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Normal admission fees apply.
