A former Exeter Chiefs rugby player has joined Blackdown Financial as a trainee financial planner.
Charlie Wright, who played professional rugby for the Chiefs for four years, is now part of the financial planning team.
He has also captained and played a key role with Taunton Titans over the past four seasons.
Mr Wright is currently studying for his level 4 diploma in regulated financial planning and will offer independent financial advice to clients after graduation.
He will work closely with the financial planning team, providing advice on savings, protection, pensions, and investments.
Simon Cutler, director of Blackdown Financial, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Charlie to our financial advice team.
"He is proven to be a very dedicated individual and is going to be a great asset to our business.
"We look forward to supporting Charlie on his new career path at Blackdown Financial."
Alongside his new career, Mr Wright has also recently become a father.
He and his wife have welcomed a son into their family.
Blackdown Financial said they are "delighted" to have Mr Wright on board, as he will "enhance their increasingly busy financial planning team."
