A horticultural society is set to host a talk by an award-winning writer.
The Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society has organised the talk by Ambra Edwards, on the subject of Plant Hunters.
Ambra, known for her interest in garden history, will share stories from her book, The Plant Hunter’s Atlas.
These tales range from the influential to the bizarre, featuring a variety of characters.
Books by Ambra Edwards will also be available for purchase at the event.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 25, at Uplyme Village Hall, starting at 7.30pm, doors open for refreshments at 7pm.
Tickets for members are free, non-members £3.
