Comedy legends Nigel Planer and Henry Normal are set to perform in Seaton.
The pair will take to the stage at the Gateway Theatre for one night only on Friday, September 13.
Mr Planer, star of The Young Ones and The Comic Strip Presents, was a key figure in the Alternative Comedy movement of the 1980s.
Alongside acting, he has penned novels, plays, and scripts for TV and radio, and his poetry has been featured in The Guardian and other anthologies.
His latest book, Jeremiah Bourne in Time, offers a unique take on time travel.
Joining him is BAFTA winner Henry Normal, a co-creator of The Royle Family and executive producer of shows such as Gavin and Stacey and Red Dwarf.
Mr Normal, who retired in 2016, has since written and performed ten BBC Radio 4 shows.
He now lives in Fairlight near Hastings with his screenwriter wife Angela Pell, and their son Johnny.
The show in Seaton promises to be an evening of poetry, stories, jokes, Q&As, and surprises.
The Owl and Pyramid Bookshop will also be present, selling a selection of their books, which the duo will be happy to sign.
A spokesperson for the event said: "This show is basically the who’s who of comedy and is on for one night only.
"Expect poetry, stories, jokes, Q & As, fun, knitwear, and a few surprises!"
The Gateway Theatre is located on Fore Street, Seaton.
