Stand-up comedy star Larry Dean is coming to Axminster as part of a national tour.
The three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee will bring his new show, Dodger, to the Axminster Guildhall on March 6, 2025.
It sees the funny man reflect on his heroes, his identity, and his new experiences following his autism diagnosis.
His admiration for Elvis Presley has been re-evaluated following his grandmother's dementia diagnosis, causing him to reconsider who truly deserves respect.
Helping to care for his grandmother has also led Mr Dean to reflect on his own life, particularly in relation to his new boyfriend, Mikey.
The show, described as a "hilarious exploration of unexpected revelations about our heroes and ourselves," will be part of his biggest tour to date.
Larry Dean has built a strong international fan base with regular performances at major comedy festivals, including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand Comedy Festival, and Just For Laughs in Montreal.
He has also made two appearances on Live at the Apollo, as well as appearances on Mock the Week and Michael McIntyre’s Big Show.
