A Somerset charity is set to host its annual dog show in September.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary's 30th dog show will take place on September 1 at its 72-acre site near Chard.
Sponsored by Everys Solicitors and Lulu’s Natural Dog Treats, the show will feature various fun classes, have-a-go agility, stalls from local businesses, and fundraising activities.
Dogs can compete in categories such as 'Cutest Youngster', 'Best Trick', 'Prettiest Bitch', and ‘Loveliest Large Dog’.
There will also be an agility course and a sit-and-stay challenge.
Children can enjoy an obstacle course and family games.
Kevan Hodges, chief executive officer at Ferne Animal Sanctuary, said: "Our annual dog show has become a highlight of the year for both our local community and their beloved canine companions.
"But what truly makes this event special is the impact it has on the lives of the animals in our care.
"It is a day of fun with a powerful purpose, and we can’t wait to see our community come together to make a difference for the animals who rely on us."
The dog show starts at 10am.
The money raised will help Ferne Animal Sanctuary continue its work in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals.
The sanctuary has helped around 40,000 animals since its founding in 1939.
It currently houses about 300 animals and successfully rehomes another 200 to 250 each year.
