New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to East Devon establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to two restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Tiffin Box at Far From The Madding Crowd, 3 Trinity Square, Axminster; rated on July 18

• Rated 4: Pebbles Coffee House at 4 Marine Place, Seaton; rated on June 19

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And four ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: Sidmouth Rugby Club at Heydons Lane, Sidmouth; rated on July 18

• Rated 5: The Anchor Inn at Fore Street, Beer, Seaton; rated on July 18

• Rated 5: The Kingfisher at Dolphin Street, Colyton; rated on July 12

• Rated 4: The Beach at Beach Hotel, Victoria Road, Exmouth; rated on June 19.

• Rated 4: The Queen Vic, a pub, bar or nightclub at 33 - 34 The Strand, Exmouth was given the score after assessment on June 18, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
