Lyme Bay Winery has won nationally and internationally recognised wine competitions this week.
The winery has won numerous awards from the WineGB Awards, Decanter World Wine Awards, The International Wine Challenge, and The International Wine & Spirits Challenge.
These accolades include a total of seven Gold Medals, seven Silver Medals, and six Bronze Medals.
The WineGB Awards celebrate the excellence of British wines and producers, Lyme Bay were the only English winery to receive a Gold Medal for their Pinot Noir 2021, they also won Gold for their Chardonnay 2021, along with a Silver Medal for their sparkling Blanc de Blancs 2017.
In its 21st year, the Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) recognised Lyme Bay with silver medals for their Pinot Noir 2021 (The only English Winery to win a Silver Medal for their 2021 vintage) and Chardonnay 2021, as well as a Bronze Medal for Sparkling Rosé NV. Additionally, the winery secured Silver Medals for the Chardonnay 2021, Pinot Noir 2021, and Sparkling Rosé NV, while their Bacchus Block 2022 earned a Bronze Medal at the highly esteemed International Wine Challenge (IWC).
Lyme Bay also won four Gold Medals at The Taste of the West Awards for their Lyme Bay Dry Gin, Lugger Spiced Rum, Lyme Bay Ginger Liqueur, and Jack Ratt Apple Mead.
