Honiton Carers commemorated D-Day's 80th anniversary on the rainy Charter Day.
The celebrations took place on Saturday, July 20 and participants thanked those who braved the weather and came out to show support despite getting soaked.
The organisers were applauded for arranging a brilliant day with activities on Allhallows Field and High Street, making it a lovely community day.
The Carers, heartened by the lovely volunteers, who kept a big smile on their faces expressed anticipation for next year's event, hopefully under sunnier skies.
