South West Water said: “We are working hard to repair a damaged sewer on Bunts Lane, Seaton. To ensure this work can be carried out safely, there is a road closure on Bunts Lane and a signed diversion route in place. Part of Dolphin Road Car Park has also been closed off to maintain safe access to the site.
“We are laying a temporary overland pipe to bypass the damaged section so a full repair can be carried out. In the meantime, we are using tankers to transport flows away from the area to mitigate any environment impact. We will look to repair the pipe and remove reopen the road as quickly as possible.”
