Seaton Memory Café celebrated their 10th birthday last week, with a swinging 60-themed treat that took place on Seaton Trams.
Organisers would like to say a huge thank you to Diane Seaton Trams and her band of wonderful volunteers for saving the day, after been let down of a 48hrs cancellation of a local bus company who should having been taking us to Trip to Dartmouth and Kingswear for Steam Train reminiscences.
Seaton Memory Café provides a valuable meeting place in the heart of our community, giving people living with memory problems, their family, friends and carers a chance to meet others in a similar situation.
The café meets on the first Monday of the month in the big hall at Seaton Methodist Church.
Seaton Memory Cafe have a varied programme of activities, games, quizzes, music and guest speakers. Running alongside two hour sessions with their own Carers Support Group.
