Honiton Carers have enjoyed an activity-packed week, full of diverse activities.
Notably, on June 26, the group hosted their monthly art and craft session.
Held at the Methodist Church, the carers collaborated on the creation of charming 2D flowers under the guidance of Hazel Austin.
The session was not only stimulating but exceptionally enjoyable, with attendees appreciating the opportunity to explore a different craft each month.
Each carer created individual flowers, which looked vibrant and full of life and were multi-functional, leading to their eventual display at the Offwell Fete, where they were quite a hit with children.
On June 28, a trip to Rosemoor Gardens made for a great day out for Honiton Carers.
The day began on a cooler note, but as it wore on, the weather improved, providing a picturesque background to explore the magnificent grounds.
The flourishing roses added an aura of enchantment to the outing, making it an affair to remember.
The group appreciated the instructions and warm welcome from Rosemoor Gardens staff, and the day was filled with jovial conversations and laughter.
Finishing their busy week on June 29, the carers attended Offwell Fete, which was a blissful, warm and sunny day.
It provided an opportunity for the carers to connect with many new people, actively discussing their services and the support they offer to unpaid carers and their loved ones in the community.
Honiton Carers lauded the support they received from the attendees throughout the event.

Meanwhile, Offwell offered a quintessential setting for a fete, as the field was perfect and the commentator was hailed by the attendees.
The refreshments served in the village hall, were reported to be excellent, and the afternoon's entertainment was highly regarded.
The tireless efforts of the volunteers at the event, despite their incessant work, seemed to heighten their spirits.
