Three fire crews from around East Devon were called out on Monday after reports of a shed fire near Axminster.
Engines from Axminster, Colyton and Seaton were called at around 7.30pm on July 1 after a member of the public called them reporting their shed on fire.
A spokesman for the fire service said: "Once on scene we sent back an assistance message of 'Make Pumps 3' the third appliance came from Colyton."
One large shed was well alight when crews attended. The shed was in close proximity to other wooden outbuildings. Crews used two Breathing Apparatus and two Hose Reel Jets to fight the fire.
A spokesman added: "We then confirmed they were at work with one Compressed Air Foam Branch to protect the surrounding buildings from any fire spread.
"At 8.35pm crews confirmed the fire to be out and they were at work with two Breathing Apparatus, one Hose Reel Jet, a ceiling hook and drag forks turning over and damping down the affected area."
The fire was completely damaged the outbuilding, following safety advice and a handover crews were able to leave the scene.
