Face painting, cakes and classic cars are among some of the activities that Whimple is planning to host later this month.
Whimple Fest, the fun-filled family event, returns on June 29, hosting various activities promoting community, arts, wellbeing and sustainability.
The one-day event starts at 12pm, on the village's Parish Field, with their very own Ring Master, Doug of Flotsam, the fool's circus workshops, marking the start.
An inclusive Fun Run is scheduled to start at 11.30am on the Parish Field, with registration from 9.30am.
From adults, youth and the elderly, to dog walkers, pram-pushers and wheelchair users, all are welcome to participate.
Each participant will receive a special certificate, while winners will be awarded medals.
On-site, the Kids Zone is set to be a hit, featuring Flotsam the Fool's Circus tent and workshops, face painting, games and the wonderful Mr Bubbles.
A free-play area will also be available for children, ensuring there's plenty to entertain the younger attendees.
A Wellbeing zone will focus on health and wellness activities with Revive Health & Wellbeing providing advice and ideas on Yoga and other gentle exercises aimed at improved mobility.
Chi-Quilibrium will offer Reiki healing to promote holistic wellness, among other practitioners.
Visitors can also unwind to music with country folk singers The Gleaves.
Meanwhile, singer Jenni will deliver some summer reggae, as well as the SING OUT community choir and Blue Honey, performing jazz and blues classics.
The Thelma Hulbert Gallery’s Creative Cabin will be present at the festival and will explore art and nature, providing a range of creative activities.
An array of arts and crafts stalls will also be on site.
Additionally to classic vehicles, there will be an assortment of heritage tractors, complemented by fast-paced radio-controlled car displays.
A BBQ, a tea tent and a well-stocked bar offering local beer and cider among other beverages, will cater for anyone in need of a drink or a quick bite.
Whimple Fest encourages a fun, community-spirited day out with free entry and parking on offer.
The day's festivities run until 5.30pm and more information can be found on the Whimple Fest Facebook page.
