The Wet Fish Shop at The Old Watch House on The Cobb Lyme Regis has expanded to include a new store at Miller's Fish Shop.
Owners Hollie Webster and Dan Colquhoun have had their shop in Lyme Regis since 2018, taking it over from the previous owners.
A few weeks ago, they also took over the established fish shop at Millers Farm Shop on Gammons Hill, Axminster.
Partner Dan is a local man, growing up in Beer and spending most of his life fishing and being on boats. Dan is a highly skilled fishmonger with years of experience. Dan is the face you will see in the shop most days.
Unfortunately, Hollie has a life-long fear of fish, but after six years working at the fishmongers she has learnt to deal with her fear, by taking charge of the business-side.
This is a small family run business and have a small team working for us. Dan travels to market 2-3 times a week to buy the fresh fish which Dan and the team then prepare in shop ready to sell. As well as plenty of variety of fresh fish, they also offer a very popular Ready to Eat Shellfish counter.
For more information, visit The Wet Fish Shop website Home or follow them on Facebook.
Hollie told the Herald: "We are a proper family run business, our four-year old is even involved, heading to market with Dan once a week, and helps us out in the fishmongers, he even has a little uniform which is so cute.
"We have welcomed two of our own babies, one who is already looking set to become your future fishmonger. As we approach summer, we are hoping to run fish raffles and a barbecue. Keep an eye on our Facebook page."
"The support and comments we have had since moving to Millers has been incredible, thank you to everyone."
