A diverse and exciting variety of land and properties will be going under the gavel on Thursday, May 16 at the Guildhall in Axminster, as part of local estate agents Symonds and Sampson’s next auction. The ‘lots’ on offer will include agricultural land, woodland, small holdings, properties for renovation and commercial property.
Some of the highlights of the auction include an 8.29-acre block of Grade 3 agricultural land at Whitestone which is suitable for agricultural and equestrian uses, a barn with planning permission for conversion and 51.20 acres of woodland and pastureland at Offwell, a ruined Grade II listed house in 11.77 acres at Shute near Axminster, and a cottage ready for renovation with 26 acres of pasture at woodland at Spreyton near Crediton. Also at Shute, there is a cottage requiring renovation, buildings and 12 acres of orchard and pasture for sale in two lots.
For information on these and all entries, it would be best to visit Symonds & Sampson's website or contact them at 01297 33122. The firm is also inviting entries for their June and July auctions and is offering free market appraisals, so it could be worth contacting them if you're interested in selling land or property.
