A special evening to commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day is coming to The Beehive in Honiton this summer.
The 80th D-Day Anniversary Show is scheduled to take place on June 7 at 7pm.
The arrangements for the evening include a variety of entertainment activities for everyone.
Visitors can anticipate screens projecting rare local aviation clips courtesy of the South West Airfields Heritage Trust.
The Honiton Community Theatre Company will present a heart-stirring performance, alongside era-specific sketches.
The audience is invited to sing along to wartime melodies with The Sheldon Singers.
In addition, the East Devon Dance Academy will set the mood with performances to tunes such as 'If I Can Dream', 'Choo Choo' and 'Straighten Up & Fly Right'.
The evening will feature a commendable line-up of local groups and individuals.
Attendees can brace themselves for different emotions including laughter, nostalgia, and tears.
Aside from the performances, a raffle will be held and the Honiton Royal British Legion will conduct a collection at the end of the event.
Guests can buy tickets at £8 for general admission and £5 for under 16s.
The event, expected to last three hours, will have an interval as well.
Accessible seating can be arranged by contacting The Beehive.
