The Uplyme and Lyme Regis Horticultural Society is hosting a talk on hostas this month.
On April 24, Bowdens Nursery's Peter Savage will be leading the discussion at Uplyme Village Hall from 7.30pm.
Plants from the national collection of hostas, housed at Bowdens, will be available for purchase.
Hostas are unique plants that flourish where others may struggle, adding charm to woodlands, water features, borders, and patios.
The society's spring-flowering bulbs, corms and tubers competition is also slated prior to the talk.
Entries should arrive in a pot or vase by 7.15pm.
Admission is complimentary for members, while non-members are asked to pay £3.
The doors open at 7pm for refreshments before the talk gets underway.
