A Sherlock Holmes comedy show is coming to The Beehive in Honiton on May 17.
Sherlock’s Excellent Adventure is a comedy penned by James Barry and inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle's renowned detective.
After enjoying successful runs at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringes, touring the UK three times, the production by Our Star Theatre Company is now making its way to Honiton.
The plot follows Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson as they are engaged by Lucy Matravers, a damsel in distress, to settle a family will dispute.
All of this only to bring the detective face-to-face with his long-time nemesis, James Moriarty.
It will include only four actors with minimal furnishings.
According to The Reviews Hub, during its stint at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2022, it garnered audience delight and laughter through its frivolous story.
Tickets will be available at general admission for £15 and £10 for students.
The running time is 110 minutes, including an interval.
Visit Beehivehoniton.co.uk to book tickets or contact the box office at 01404 384050 between 9am-5pm on weekdays.
Accessible seating is obtainable through the box office.
The Beehive bar will open an hour before the 7.30pm performance begins.
