Works will begin at the Beer Cliff Top car park starting on Monday 25 March.
The initial works will be drainage improvements for 3-4 weeks with surfacing works in the area following on from Monday.
The car park will remain open but there will be periods of reduced capacity. Over the Easter bank holiday the contractor will be off site, but their compound will remain.
This is a large car park up the hill from the far end of Beer which is mainly grass and because of its location it can be hard to drain, so that is why East Devon District Council are working to improve it.
The car park on Common Hill, Beer, EX12 3AQ has 300 Pay places. Hourly rate: £2. Minimum payment: £1.00 (30 mins) Maximum payment: £8.00 from November to March for £2.
