Jazz by the Sea is coming to Lyme Regis with a show to pay tribute to the works of Louis 'Satchmo' Armstrong.
The event, named Hello, Louis! A Joyful Tribute to Satchmo, will be held at the Marine Theatre on March 31 at 8pm.
Marvin Muoneké and his quartet will be performing Mr Armstrong's songbook for the evening.
Mr Muoneké, the singer whose vocals are frequently dubbed as 'rich, deep and smooth', also plays the trumpet and flugelhorn.
He has showcased his talent in many clubs and theatres, including the renowned London Palladium and Switzerland's Pavilion Gabriel.
Marvin Muoneké is often described as 'the young man with the old soul,' a title he's lived up to both on The Voice UK and Britain’s Got Talent.
Joining him on stage will be guitarist Richard Llewelyn, who's had a passion for jazz since his childhood.
Jon Whitfield, an experienced drummer who has played with prominent jazz figures such as Jim Mullen, Alan Barnes, and Peter King, will provide the rhythm.
Paul Francis, having worked with well-known acts including Paul Weller and Midge Ure, will be on bass.
The evening will focus on Louis Armstrong's celebrated career, beginning with his Hot Five days in the 1920s and ending in the late 1960s.
His timeless classics, What A Wonderful World, Jeepers Creepers, and Hello Dolly, will take centre stage during this performance.
Tickets for the event are available in advance for £14 or can be bought at the door for £16.
