Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating several vehicle break-ins on King Street, King Mews, Jerrard Close, and Streamers Meadows in Honiton.
On Monday, February 5 and Tuesday, February 6, offenders broke into unlocked cars and caused damage to gain entry to cars where valuables had been inside.
Police are asking residents to ensure cars are locked and that valuables are kept out of the vehicle.
If you have a car with keyless entry, then keep your keys inside a Faraday box or pouch to prevent keyless entry when the key is nearby.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "We have conducted enquiries in the area in relation to the incidents that have been reported to the Police. If your vehicle has been broken into, please report this to us via 101.
"If you have any information that may lead to the identification of the offenders, please contact 101 via email, online reporting tool or by phone, quoting log 788 of 06/02/2024."
