A family-run auction house in Honiton has been shortlisted at this year's Exeter Living Awards.
Chilcotts Auctioneers, established by Duncan and Liz Chilcott in 2004, has been recognised in the retail category.
This achievement celebrates the Chilcotts' 20 years of operation, marking a significant milestone in their growth.
Liz Chilcott said: "We're absolutely thrilled to be a finalist in these awards and to represent Honiton.
"It's the first time we've entered so fingers crossed!
"The nomination is based on successes of the past year and for us, 2023 really was a stand-out for the business, with turnover topping £1M for the first time."
Highlights for Chilcotts in 2023 included their highest ever single auction total of £200K in June, and a Duncan Grant painting which fetched a record £42K, the largest sum his artwork has garnered outside of London.
The Exeter Living Awards, long-established as a platform for businesses, charities and individuals in the area, will announce the ultimate winners at University of Exeter's Great Hall.
Chilcotts shares the shortlist in the retail category with six other diverse businesses.
Ms Chilcott added: "All are great businesses and are so very different.
"We wish the best of luck to everyone".
Winners will be revealed at the event taking place on March 7.
