Local pupils have contributed to a new exhibition at Thelma Hulbert Gallery focusing on the climate emergency.
The exhibition is the first in the UK by international artist Mikhail Karikis and is titled Acoustics of Resistance.
It features a video installation known as The Weather Orchestra, which transforms the gallery into an indoor weather system.
Musicians will also be performing on instruments that produce sounds resembling those of natural weather phenomena.
The highlight of the exhibition is Universe of Solutions, a collection of work by 30 students from Honiton Community College.
Works that were crafted during a series of artist-led workshops.
The pieces reflect each student's imagined response to climate change.
Visitors are encouraged to unveil their ideas and solutions by contributing to the evolving display.
Councillor Nick Hookway, portfolio holder for culture, sport, leisure and tourism, said: "The impact of climate change is possibly the greatest challenge that we will face in our lifetime.
"It will be up to our young people to face and deal with this so I would like to thank Mikhail Karikis for his thought-provoking work with local schoolchildren considering the many and varied solutions for our future."
Marie-Claire Jefferies, vice-principal Honiton Community College, thanked the organisers and patron Mikhail Karikis, stating: "Thank you so much for making these workshops happen.
"It was an amazing opportunity for our pupils and hopefully we have convinced a few of them to pursue a career in the Arts!"
The exhibition continues till March 9, open from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am to 5pm.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to engage in family art activities, including a half-term workshop creating animations promoting a climate-conscious lifestyle.
