Honiton will follow in Okehampton's shoes and open a new police enquiry office by March.
This follows the successful opening of several front desks across the region.
The police and crime commissioner for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Alison Hernandez, said: “Our police enquiry officers will work with colleagues in the control rooms by handling non-emergency contact from the public and providing the local community with another contact option, which will improve the convenience of contacting the police and strengthen the service we offer.”
She said the community in Okehampton will be able to access policing closer to home when needing to report a crime or ask for advice.
The new physical point of contact, offering crime reporting and prevention advice along with victim services, is initially set to open Monday to Thursday from 10am to 3pm.
The intention is to extend this to a six-day a week operation.
Other upcoming locations include Kingsbridge and Ilfracombe, all scheduled for operation before March 2024.
This will bring the total number of available police front desks in Devon and Cornwall to 27 by 2025.
