The A35 between Honiton and Axminster has re-opened in both directions following an earlier fallen tree which fell in strong winds.
The incident was reported by National Highways at around 2pm today (January 2) on X, formerly Twitter.

A spokesperson said: "The tree has now been removed and the A35 is now OPEN in both directions between the A358 (Axminster) and A375 (Honiton).
"There are no residual delays in the area."

The closure was announced by the highways authority at 1.58pm.
It confirmed the road had re-opened at 2.09pm.
Storm Henk - the eighth storm of 2023-24 - brought winds of up to 94mph and heavy rain to parts of the UK.
