South West residents are being warned of possible travel disruption as heavy rain could hit the county this evening (Monday, January 1).
The Met Office has issued a weather warning for rain across the South West which will be in place from 5pm today until 9pm tomorrow (Tuesday, January 2).

Heavy rain falling on saturated ground is likely to cause some travel disruption, the Met Office reported.
It also added “spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer, and bus and train services could probably be affected with journey times taking longer”.
Residents are also being warned of strong winds tomorrow.
