East Devon residents are still warned of possible disruptions as the Met Office issued a new weather warning for rain which will be in place on Saturday (December 9).
The latest forecast said: “Following the heavy rainfall of recent days, a further spell of heavy rain early on Saturday may bring further disruption to travel.”
According to the latest Met Office map, coastal areas of North Devon and Somerset and the Honiton and Axminster areas are likely to be affected.

The warning will be in force from 1am to 9am The Met Office also reported: “Flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.
“Spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.
“Bus and train services probably affected with journey times taking longer.”
The warning comes after heavy downpours caused disruption across the county yesterday when several road closures were in place most of the day due to flooding.
