A Christmas show with a difference comes to Stockland Village Hall on Sunday, December 17.
The Twisted Christmas comedy show by 'Owdyado Theatre is described as a 'deliciously depraved take on the holiday season', influenced by dark classics such as Inside No 9, The Twilight Zone and Roald Dahl's Tales of the Unexpected.
It consists of a series of macabre mini plays on subjects including how to buy the perfect gift for your 'unloved ones', the sinister side of Christmas cracker jokes, and why you should never turn your back on a pantomime dame.
It's being brought to Stockland by Villages in Action, the arts charity that brings professional shows to rural communities.
Tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for under 25s, and can be bought via the Villages in Action website. The age guidance for the show is 14 and over. The show starts at 7.30pm and there will be an interval and a licensed bar.
