Honiton's Royal British Legion, (RBL) has raised a grand total of £21,221 in this year's Poppy Appeal.
The money will be donated to many worthwhile RBL causes and projects. Over 100 businesses also helped to support our fundraising along with local youth groups and 25 individual volunteers, who manned the Poppy tables and walked door-to-door collecting from October until remembrance Sunday, (November 12).
A spokesman for The Royal British Legion, Honiton Branch said: "I would like to thank the people of Honiton, its surrounding villages and hamlets for their unwavering generosity and support. This years' Annual Poppy Appeal has raised an astonishing £21,221, so far. The money raised will help, not just at a National level, but will assist those local service personnel and veterans struggling and in their time of need."
