The Met Office has confirmed that East Devon is due for a snap of cold weather this weekend.
In the next 24 hours, temperatures are set to fall across the UK, but the weather is still staying 'predominantly dry through the end of the week'.
By Friday night, the weather is turning, a spokesman for the Met Office said: "You can expect to see the first proper widespread frost of the Autumn for the UK with temperatures dipping below freezing even in the south of England.
"Temperatures could fall as low as -5C in rural parts of western England. So a cold start to Saturday with sunny spells before cloud moves in from the west ahead of a spell of rain through Sunday and in to Monday before drier conditions return through the start of next week.
The long range forecast for the weekend: A widespread frost through Saturday morning but staying largely dry with some sunshine at times. Frosty for some on Sunday morning but cloud and rain moving in from the west.
