The Hybrid Gallery in Honiton High Street has announced that this will be their final week.

Gallery owners Jacqueline & Tim said: "We have been seeing fewer and fewer visitors to the High Street and so sadly, after 19 years, we have taken the decision to close our doors."

The property is on the market as they are moving their activity into the nearby home.

They added: "So much of our business is now conducted via the web site that many of you will see no change. To those of you whom we see regularly, we will miss our interactions and conversations face to face, enjoying the paintings and sculpture together, discovering new angles or approaches and just having a sociable catch up.

We will continue to work with our artists to bring their work to you via our emails and web site. Whilst we still have the gallery we can meet at the premises to show work in person or we may be able to visit you with pieces. We will continue to be at the end of the phone and email to converse as suits each individual."
